Pastor Kennedy bio
One night at a midweek prayer meeting, Pastor Gerald and Eileen Kennedy took two-year old Andrew Kennedy and dedicated his life to the Lord. Like a Hannah of old Mrs. Eileen Kennedy cried out to God and said, “Lord, use him for your work.”
Pastor Gerald Kennedy was one of the most well known evangelists in Cape Town area in the country of South Africa. As a little boy, Andrew would join his father in all his tent crusades.
Andrew learned from his father in the 1980’s that all people are equal, and although South Africa’s government had an apartheid policy, Andrew was taught that Jesus made everyone equal, and in God there is no skin color!
Andrew joined a teen ministry and toured South Africa ministering in different churches and high schools. Soon Andrew became the Youth Pastor of his father’s church in Witbank and founded Run With Fire Ministries.
In 2002 Pastor Kennedy met his sweetheart, Donnee. They traveled to the States for a honeymoon that turned into three years of preaching and traveling throughout America! Upon his father’s sudden death, the couple returned to South Africa and on January 11, 2004, Pastor Kennedy planted Cornerstone Church in the city of Witbank. The church became one of the fastest growing churches in the area growing to over 400 members in just three years.
Seeking apostolic covering, Pastor Kennedy joined himself to Bishop Michael Pitts and the Cornerstone Global Network. Once again feeling the call to the United States, Pastor Kennedy placed a Pastor at Cornerstone Church in Witbank in 2007 and came to the States to become Pastor of Cornerstone City Church.
Pastor Kennedy and his wife Donnee have two beautiful daughters Amore, and Amber.
